TXST SoTDF presents Collective Rage
Described as “one of Broadway’s wildest and wackiest comedies.” Collective Rage follows five different people, all named Betty, who collide at the intersection of anger, sex, love, and the “thea-tah.”
San Marcos, TX – Texas State University's School of Theatre, Dance, and Film presents Jen Silverman's Collective Rage: A Play in Five Betties, running October 28 through November 2 in the Theatre Center Mainstage Theatre.
Described as “one of Broadway’s wildest and wackiest comedies.” Collective Rage follows five different people, all named Betty, who collide at the intersection of anger, sex, love, and the “thea-tah.”
Directed by Ana Martinez Medina, a third-year graduate student, this eccentric comedy features a cast of Betties, including Karina Anton, Daci Beaudette, Arianna Pierce, Rem Remy, and Madison Sanchez.
The creative team includes Andrea Alviar, scenic designer; Allie Hildebran, costume designer; Wyatt Hood, lighting designer; Trinity Lee, sound designer; Kent Maschek, technical director; Morgan Smithwick, dramaturg; Andy Grapko, guest intimacy director; and Myles Rodriguez, production stage manager.
This production features a special Halloween costume contest on Friday evening with fun and prizes! This production contains explicit language and adult themes and may not be suitable for all audience members. Recommended for adults 18+. For more information on the contest and rating, see below.
Collective Rage runs October 28 through November 2 in the Theatre Center Mainstage Theatre. Current students can receive a complimentary ticket courtesy of the President (online only). Patrons can find all other ticket types available for purchase online at txstatepresents.com or at the door.
