The Division of Dance presents the annual concert to showcase the choreographic works of our student organizations and individual artists. This year's concert showcases our student choreographers' many styles and talents. This family-friendly show invites the audience to laugh, listen, and reflect as the dancers and choreographers create beautiful environments through their performances. Works will be presented in various styles and genres as these students have designed, developed, and performed works to highlight their multifaceted skill set.

The Division of Dance
The Dance Division at Texas State was founded and fostered by Dr. Joan Hays (Dance Division Director from 1973-2003). Dr. Hays decided to base the program in the aesthetic philosophies and technical principles of modern dance pioneer, Erick Hawkins.
