Texas State University’s beautiful 507 acre campus houses more than 38,000 students, which makes our university one of the largest in the state of Texas. In addition, the Department of Theatre and Dance is one of the top schools in Texas for dance.
Applying to the University
Students can get a feel for the program before auditioning and declare "BA in Dance Studies" or "BFA in Dance Studies" which do not require auditions.
