Jeremy O. Torres graduated from Texas State University twice -- once with a BFA in pre-professional directing and then in 2005 with a Master's degree in Theatre History and Criticism. In the fall of 2014 Jeremy became a full time faculty member in the Department of Theatre and Dance as head of the BFA in Performance & Production program.
Tragically, Jeremy Torres was in a fatal car accident on Sunday, May 22, 2016.
Housed in the Texas State University School of Theatre, Dance, and Film, the Jeremy Torres Lab Theatre (JTLT) is a student-run production company that creates innovative and entrepreneurial work driven by students. JTLT provides a platform for students to come together, collaborate, and lead the creative process, fostering artistic expression and creativity.
