Our Program
Texas State Musical Theatre cultivates a dynamic population of Broadway-caliber artists and change-makers grounded in a deep understanding of wellness, communal responsibility, integrity, and curiosity.
At Texas State Musical Theatre, we believe exceptional artistry begins with a strong foundation of wellness, collaboration, and individualized growth. Our program takes a holistic approach to training—where faculty and students share a common creative language across all disciplines. This integrated model reinforces the importance of both craft and storytelling, cultivating artists who are versatile, thoughtful, and empowered.
We are deeply committed to supporting our students' physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Our curriculum prioritizes health and sustainability, encouraging students to understand their personal boundaries, embrace their individual agency, and develop a lifelong practice of self-advocacy.
We celebrate the unique backgrounds and experiences our students bring with them, and we take pride in nurturing their unique voices. In addition to rigorous performance training, our customizable tracks allow students to explore other areas of the industry—such as choreography, music direction, producing, and directing—broadening their creative potential and professional versatility.
Rooted in values of respect, community, and artistic integrity, Texas State Musical Theatre prepares students not just for a career, but for a life in the arts. Our graduates leave with a well-rounded education, a deep sense of purpose, and the tools to thrive in the ever-evolving world of musical theatre.
