NEXUS Musical Theatre Pre-College Intensive

The NEXUS Pre-College Intensive is a residential summer camp designed to train not only the artist, but the person. The word ‘nexus’ is defined as: “A connection or series of connections linking two or more things; a binding together.” If you happen to be in the nexus of something, you’re right in the middle of it all. And that’s exactly where you’ll be at Nexus – right in the middle of a community of artists working together to create the future of our art form, utilizing innovative training methods and guided by Texas State’s nationally renowned faculty in our state-of-the-art facilities.

Bobcat Theatre Camp

July 6-11 2026 (Grades 2-8) & July 12-17 2026 (Grades 9-12)

We are now offering two sessions of this week-long day camp. Session I will be designed for elementary and middle school students, and Session II for High School students. Both camps offer participants the opportunity to engage in a variety of acting and technical theatre workshops, allowing them to develop a wide range of theatre skills.
