Overview of Callback Requirements

    1. Prepare two contrasting 60-second monologues.
    2. Please have a second, classical 60 second monologue prepared. Faculty may ask to see this monologue.

    Things to remember:

    • Make sure that your selection is appropriate for your age.
    • The selection should NOT require dialect, costume or props
    • Be creative: We love writing from all mediums and look forward to your creative choices. Our actor training embraces all media platforms We give you permission to bring your personal creativity to this audition. Our program reflects this philosophy.
    • If possible, for this audition, we request that you do not perform pieces by: Gabriel Davis, Don Zolidis, Kellie Powell, or Wade Bradford, and that you avoid any monologue that is not a piece of a larger whole, such as a play, a screenplay, a novel, or a TV script. Beyond that, we encourage you to make bold choices and bring what speaks to you the most.
  • Assigned ensemble exercise. This is an improv exercise so there is nothing to prepare.

  • As an auditionee for Acting you are required to attend ONE of the Program Overview sessions, we hope your families will also join us as well.

Note: These materials can be the same as your prescreen materials.
